O'So Krispie Bio

Sitting as a wiser and stronger 23 year old, Tiffany Nicole Baker better known as "O'So Krispie" is making 2008 a year of musical success and entertainment dictatorship. You may remember the young talent from the 2005 UPN reality TV show "R U the Girl" with the multi-platinum R&B group TLC. On September 21st 2005, O'So came out victorious as the winner of the show recording a single with TLC titled "I BET", as well as ripping up the stage in a live televised performance. O'So officially gained the title "The Girl".
Being signed immediately to the show wasn't necessarily the best deal for O'So. While waiting for her contract to expire, O'So continued to pursue her college degree in Atlanta. After several disappointing attempts to break into the industry, O'So moved back to Cali, taking a brief hiatus from pursuing her music. While away, she was able to gather her creative intellect and study business in depth. O'So also helped to mold several other artists in the industry. After a year of reflection and growth O'So decided to return to ATL to record her first attempt at a solo project, producing "Roll with You", a new car ballad describing the most popular vehicles of the year. Although "Roll With You" was accepted, O'So felt it didn't quite represent what she was trying to do with her music, writing, or career. Finally O'So decided to retreat for a second time, but this time the return to the industry would be permanent. One day after surfing the web Super producer Russ Castella contacted O'So and asked her to record on two of his tracks. After reviewing them, O'So knew that these tracks would take her writing to a phenomenal new level; one that would ultimately change her life. She immediately recorded the tracks and sent them back. Russ decided to sign the eager O'So Krispie to a single deal for the recently released "Slumber Party" featuring artist King Official. Slumber party is a fun filled mid tempo tune that describes the ultimate "Slumber Party", beginning as a night of hanging with the girls and later swirling into a completely chaotic house party including food fights, dancing, "the fellas" and lots of fun. Shortly after recording the video, O'So began working on her solo album titled The PINK Album, introducing the second single "YELLOW" which is sure to become a hit on all charts world wide. Other songs on the album include "Bubble Gum", "Acrophobic", "Shy", and "Simple" to name a few. Executively Produced by Russ Castella, O'So Krispie and B.Hess
When asked about the album O'So replied …
"Teaming up with Russ Castella was totally a blessing. He understands me and gives me a lot of creative control which is always a big deal in today's industry. Being able to take control of my album has helped me to keep focused and has pushed me to grow in my music, staying both in tuned to the current movement of the music industry but at the same time keeping my individualism. Lots of producers have handed me tracks, few have fit who I am as an artist. Russ' tracks on the other hand, I just can't pass up, before he finishes them I'm already half way done with the lyrics, it just works that way. He makes the tracks I want to write to, so I do. Though the industry can be very competitive and it may seem a little cliché, I feel I am my only competition and only I know when I have exceeded my own expectations. I am the person who has to look at myself in the mirror at the end of the day and be satisfied. The PINK Album can be considered my freedom debut. I got the opportunity to work with Brandon "B.Hess" Hesson. B.Hess vocal production takes my music to the next level and of course I had to get him on a couple of tracks as a featured artist because well let's face it, he's the truth, both as a writer/producer and a vocalist. The Pink Album is a direct representation of how I feel, think, and write. It's going to touch people, while giving them something that is not so much commercial, but more like honest, pure, unapologetic truth. I'm giving a piece of me away in this album. I'm excited to see how it makes its way past people's front doors, through their ears, and into their hearts".
The PINK Album is definitely a classic; full of energy, emotions and all things KRISPIE! No matter what's your cup of tea, this album is sure to quench your thirst. This is just a taste of what O'So has to offer, and this year is truly the beginning. O'So Krispie is no longer a girl, she has since grown in all things surrounding her music career, her health an ultimately her life. One can truly see the transformation from "the girl" to "a woman", a talented woman, a hardworking woman, a business woman.
